With its beautiful historical sites and breathtaking nature, Antalya has a lot to offer for both amateur and professional photographers. If you like photography as well, take a look at our list to learn about the favorite photography spots in the city!
Konyaaltı Atatürk Park
If you want green and blue in the same shot, Konyaaltı Atatürk Park is the ideal spot! It is located within nature, and it has a magnificent sea view. Also, there are places where you can just sit back, and enjoy a drink against the lovely view.
One of the most popular ancient cities in Turkey, Perge is a must-see, whether you are a photographer or not. We have mentioned it in our previous posts, and since it offers some great shots to photographers -thanks to its architecture- we are mentioning it again. If you want to capture the history of the area, you should definitely photograph Perge.
Olympos is one of the first names that comes to mind when we think of Antalya, and for a good reason. It is a popular spot especially amongst newlyweds that want to take some wedding photos. Here you can photograph a magnificent sea view -especially during sunset- with ancient ruins and a beautiful nature.
Gizli Cennet Şelalesi
Gizli Cennet Şelalesi literally translates to “Hidden Heaven Waterfalls”. Sound mysterious and exciting, right? Well it is! Here you will find four waterfalls of varying sizes and some natural pools. So, needless to say, it is a great spot especially for nature photographers.
Another historical landmark of the city, Hadrian’s Gate is the monumental gate leading into Kaleiçi. Also called the Triple Gate, it was built in second century AD to commemorate the visit of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. It has a unique atmosphere, and you should definitely see it if you are interested in taking photos of historical places/ruins.
Finally, the marina is a beautiful spot to capture not just some nice views, but the city life as well. Here you will see little commercial boats and people having a good time, with Antalya Castle in the background, and a charming sea view.
